Dorothy Emma Robinson, 95 COLUMBIANA - Funeral services will be officiated by the Rev. David Joachim at 4 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, for Dorothy Emma Robinson, 95 of Whispering Pines Village, who passed away peacefully Tuesday morning. Dorothy was born Aug. 12, 1917, in Steubenville, a daughter of Ross and Helen Brownlee Bowman. She moved to Youngstown in 1932 and started working at Isaly's Dairy on Elm Street, she then became a cook at Isle of Capri Restaurant, and retired in 1989 as a cook for the Telestar Lounge. Dorothy was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Eastern Star, Eagles Auxiliary No. 3298, the Harmony Lodge No. 465, and the Vasa Lodge. Her husband, Lewis R. Robinson, whom she married July 6, 1954, passed away Nov. 25, 1976. She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Raymond (Sandy) Benson of Austintown and Mason (Donna) Evans of New Springfield and a granddaughter, Amy (Stephen) Kness. Besides her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by a son, Paul Benson and great-grandson Stephen Kness II. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
