Dorothy C. Turkovic, 85 BOARDMAN - Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home, for Dorothy C. Turkovic, 85, who passed away Monday morning. Dorothy was born Jan. 12, 1926, in Monessen, Pa., a daughter of Adolph and Gabriella Gasper. She was a 1949 graduate of South High School and worked as a clerk for the P&LE railroad retiring 1988. Dorothy was a member of St. Peter & Paul Church. Her husband, Thomas, whom she married in 1953, passed away Aug. 16, 1999. She leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Laura (William Clark) Krashoff of Poland; a son, Thomas Turkovic of Girard; a sister, Martha Durkot of Boardman; a brother, Richard Gasper of Struthers; eight grandchildren, Carey, Rachael, Erica, Jessica, Nicole, Chelsea, Michael and Thomas; and nine great-grandchildren, David, Danny, Lyric, Sara, Nicholas, Michael, Morgan, Bailey and Brianna. Besides her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by a daughter, Ramona Turkovic; two brothers, Edward Gasper and Carl Gasper; and two sisters, Theresa Victor and Elsie Gavini. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
