Dorothy Warden, 93 AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be officiated by Rev. Benjamin Graves at noon on Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman, for Dorothy Warden, 93, who passed peacefully Tuesday evening at Humility House in Austintown. Dorothy was born Sept. 5, 1920, in Youngstown, a daughter of Charles and Grace Brothers Hoskins and had been a life-long area resident. She was a Woodrow Wilson High School graduate and was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing tennis, bowling, golfing and horseback riding. She loved bird watching but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family. Dorothy was a long time member of the Christ Presbyterian Church and the Eagles in Austintown. Her husband, Albert Warden, whom she married May 3, 1939, passed away May 8, 1989, after celebrating 50 years of marriage. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Gloria Ozias of Austintown; four grandchildren, Brian (Michelle) Goss of Warren, Doug (fiancAC.e Judy) Goss of North Lima, Greg (Joell) Stebelton of North Lima and Tracy (Dino) Balkan of Austintown; and five great-grandchildren, Josh, Ben, Joey, Tony and Staci. Besides her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter, Myra Scanlon; two sons-in-law, Roger Ozias and Warren Scanlon; four brothers, Vern, Robert, Frank and Harold Hoskins; three sisters, Florence Cornell, Jean Anderson and Mary Dressel. Family requests monetary donations to be made in Dorothy's name to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St. Boardman, OH 44511. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman.
