Edward M. Durkin, 100 SCOOTSDALE, AZ--In loving memory filled with wisdom and nostalgia. Former employee of McKelveys store in Youngstown, and Korricks store in Phoenix, Arizona, where he served both as head of interior design and fashion coordinator until retirement. Passing on to join his wife Ruth Durkin, his love, and forever his world on March 31, 2009. Edward was born January 30, 1909, in Youngstown. Also leaving behind John H. Durkin Sr. (Son), Anna May Pennel (Sister), George C. Durkin (Brother), seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Our morning coffee talks will be missed dearly. Prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Fox Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Saint Patrick Church, celebrated by Father Edward P. Noga.
