Edward J. Vrable Sr., 77 BOARDMAN--A Panachida service will be at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m. at the Infant Jesus Byzantine Catholic Church, both in Boardman, for Edward J. Vrable Sr., 77, who passed away Friday morning after he fought a courageous battle with cancer. Edward was born Sept. 10, 1931, a son of Joseph and Anna Havrilla Vrable. He was a 1949 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and a 1959 graduate of Youngstown College. Edward worked at the Ohio Department of Taxation as a auditor and supervisor, retiring in 1991 after 30 years of service. Edward was an active member of his church and its Infant Jesus of Prague, Altar Rosary Guild and by playing bingo at the church. Being so devoted to his faith, Edward also attended and supported many other churches in the area. He was a former member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Church and a life member of the Greek Catholic Union and the Knights of Columbus Marion Council No. 3813.
