Elieen Crean Grimm passed away peacefully on Friday evening November 14, 2025, with her family at her side.
She was born on August 12, 1943, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Patrick and Margaret O'Hara Crean who immigrated from Ireland. Eileen was a lifelong area resident.
Elieen grew up on the North Side of Youngstown on Ohio Ave., with her nine siblings and graduated from Ursuline High School in 1961.
She attended Victor George Beauty School and was a beautician at Freds Salon and at Davids Salon for many years.
Eileen worked at General Motors on the assembly line and then worked as a Tow Motor operator before retiring after 40 years of service.
She belonged to St. Joseph Church in Austintown, enjoyed traveling throughout the US and Europe, but frequently visited her favorite place Ireland.
Elieen met monthly for lunch with her coworkers and friends, she always enjoyed making reservations at various restaurants.
She loved the holidays with her family; she always brought plenty of good wine and cheese to celebrate.
Elieen had a heart of gold and was very generous. She was very involved with her nieces and nephews and all their activities.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her siblings Margaret (Ed) Narry, Nora Butler, Thomas (Donna) Crean, Valerie (Tom) Green, and twins Dorothy R. "Candy" (Chuck) Guzzy, Donna (Phil) Marsolo.
Eileen also leaves many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Patrick (Ruth), Edward W. and James P. Crean and brother-in-law Joe Butler.
Family and friends may call Wednesday November 19, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Fox Funeral Home 4700 Market St. Boardman. Calling will also be at Church from 10 to 10:50 a.m. on Thursday.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Blaise Parish, Saint. Joseph Church 4545 New Road Austintown., celebrated by Rev. MSGR. Peter Polando. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
