North Lima, Elizabeth J. "Betty" Marino, 78. Memorial services will be 7 P.M. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, for Elizabeth J. "Betty" Marino, 78, of North Lima, who passed away peacefully Friday with her family by her side. Betty was born Sept 19, 1937 in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Leeson Ritz. She was a 1958 graduate of South High School and the Youngstown Hospital Association School of Nursing. Betty was a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Medical Center and Dr. Hovanic's office. In 1966 she moved to Palm Beach, Florida with her family, where she received at real estate license. After a few years in Florida, Betty and her family moved back to Youngstown where she worked at Diamondhead Nursing Home. Betty enjoyed oil painting and playing the piano. Her husband Ross A. Marino, whom she married February 14, 1963, passed away May 8, 1995. She leaves to cherish her memory a son Mark Marino of Columbiana, a step son Peter Marino of Santa Rosa, California , two step daughters Patricia Marino of Youngstown and Nora Swanson of Aiken, South Carolina and five grandchildren.
