Emery J. Gomori, 85 CANFIELD - Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, for Emery J. Gomori, 85, who passed away Monday afternoon. Emery was born Nov. 5, 1926, in South Bend, Ind., a son of Stephen and Agnes Vargus Gomori. He worked for Fowler Construction Co., retiring as superintendent after 43 years. Emery then worked for Allied Erecting and Dismantling for three years. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and loved fishing and camping. His wife, the former Delores G. Klamer, whom he married June 23, 1951, passed away Sept. 12, 1994. He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Robert (Jane) Gomori of Boardman and Jim (Michele) Gomori of Canfield; a daughter, Sue (Dale) McCormick of Austintown; three brothers, Louie Gomori of Butler, Pa., Alex Gomori of Youngstown, Eugene Gomori of Butler, Pa.; two sisters, Irene Crater of Poland and Violet Bozak of California; six grandchildren, Brian McCormick, Sara Donnelly, Bob Gomori Jr., Darren McCormick, Michael and Matthew Gomori; and four great-grandchildren.
