Emma (Gram) Babich, 89 YOUNGSTOWN - Prayers will be held at 9:30 a.m., Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev Edward Noga at 10 a.m., at the St. Patrick Church, Youngstown, for Emma (Gram) Babich, 89, who passed away peacefully Sunday morning, with her family by her side. Emma was born Dec. 22, 1925, in Youngstown, a daughter of Howard and Mary Margaret Bees Clark. She worked at the General Electric Mazda Lamp Plant for 45 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Patrick Church. Emma loved feeding her birds, squirrels, hummingbirds and sitting on the swing watching the turtle and fish in the pond. She loved playing bingo, getting her hair done by Georgie her beautician for 30 years, playing the lottery, baking cookies and loved those Cleveland Indians. Let's not forget, cutting the grass too. She was a great cook. Emma lived for the loves of her life, her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren (who are now left with a huge hole in their hearts). Emma will be deeply missed by all that knew her. Her husband Joseph, who she married Sept. 23, 1950, passed away Oct. 31, 1981. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Mary Elizabeth (John) Hahn; four grandchildren Mary Jo (Jason) Savage, Sharmayne (Michael) Gay, John (J.R.) (Jennifer) Hahn and Elizabeth (Scott) Thompson; 11 great grandchildren, Bryson, Alexander, Lana and Troy Gay, Paige and Joey Savage, Landon, Blake, Mason and Luke Hahn and Jaxon Thompson, and special dear friends Jeannie Giasante, Barb Noufer and Barb Hynes. Besides her husband, Emma is preceded in death by two sisters, Eva Watson and Mary Clark; and three brothers, Thomas, Timothy and Howard Clark.
