Eva Glinatsis Vaporis, 79 TWINSBURG, OH - Funeral services will be at 11:00 am. Friday at St. John Greek Orthodox Church in Boardman, celebrated by Fr. Thomas M. Constantine, for Eva Vaporis, 79, previously of Boardman who passed away Sunday afternoon at Grand Village Suites in Twinsburg, Ohio. Eva was born April 18, 1935, in Youngstown, a daughter of Nomikos & Angeline Tsimouris Glinatsis and has been a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1953, and worked as a secretary for Cold Metal Products and the Pharmor Corporation. She was a longtime member and very involved at St Johns Greek Orthodox Church. Her husband Atty. John M. Vaporis , whom she married Aug. 21, 1955,died on August 22,2010 just celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary. She leaves her daughter, Angelique (Richard) Sweet of Hudson; a son, Dr. Michael J. Vaporis of Stow; her three grandchildren, Joseph, John and Kaliope Sweet of Hudson; a brother Peter (Litsa) Glinatsis of Harrisburg, PA; three sisters, Fanny (Marko) Joanow of Hermitage, PA, Katherine (Andrew) Kartalis of Pepper Pike, OH, Kaliope (James) Manuel of Solon, OH and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death her sister Sophia Glinatsis and her three brothers, George, Tony and John Glinatsis. Friends may call from 5p.m. to8 p.m. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, where there will be a 7:30 p.m. Trisagion service by Fr. Thomas Constantine, and Friday from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the church.
