Everett V. Clegg, 87 YOUNGSTOWN- Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Grace Church of the Nazarene in Austintown for Everett V. Clegg, 87 who passed away Saturday afternoon at Briarfield at Ashley Place. Everett was born March 14, 1928 in Parkersburg, WV, a son of Everett C. and Thelma V. Sigler Clegg and has been a Youngstown area resident since the 1950's. He was a veteran serving his country with the United States Army. He worked as a tire serviceman for Goodrich, Firestone and Goodyear. He was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene, Gideons and a member of Ombudsman. His wife Lois Marie Bradford whom he married August 19, 1955 died on April 11, 2009. He will be greatly missed by his son, Darrel (Dottie) Clegg of Canfield; three daughters, Gale "Lannie" (Dan) Kardos of Osborne, OH, Donna Thornsberry of Summersville, SC, Patricia (Lou) Vasquez of Texas; two sisters, Kathleen McCord of Parkersburg, WV, Edna Forrider of Coolville, OH; eleven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Besides his wife and his parents, Everett was preceded in death by his son-in-law David Thornsberry.
