Fanny M. Rovder, 88 YOUNGSTOWN - There will be a memorial Mass at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 6, at St. Luke Church, celebrated by the Rev. Joseph Fata, for Fanny M. Rovder, 88, who passed away Dec. 20, at Omni Manor Health Care Center in Youngstown. Fanny was born Sept. 4, 1926, in Lowellville, a daughter of John and Mary Dunski Galich, and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Lowellville High School in 1944. Fanny was in retail store management for many years, retiring in 2002, from J.C. Penny Co., she was a bookkeeper and was a dance instructor. Fanny was a member of American Business women association and various charitable organizations and St. Luke Church. She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Gerald (Vicki) Rovder of Cleveland and Alan Rovder of San Diego; and a daughter-in-law, Karen Rovder of Minneapolis. She also leaves her grandchildren, Nicole Rovder of Cleveland and Andy Rovder and Leni Kosek of Minneapolis. Besides her parents, Fanny was preceded in death by her son, Andre Rovder; a baby daughter, Andrea Rovder; sisters Ann Kopey, Helen Ziak, and Sophie Cebulak; and brother Andy Yurchak. Friends may call at the church Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
