FRANCES H. PROTAIN, 79 CAMPBELL - Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home for Frances H. Protain, who died Friday at her residence. Frances was born July 23, 1926 in Worcester, Mass. A daughter of Albert and Marion Darling Wetherbee. She moved to Youngstown as a child. Frances was a House wife who enjoyed baking and was a member of Holy Trinity Church. Her husband Louis H. Protain whom she married November 5, 1942, died August 15, 1992. Frances leaves her daughter Joanne Protain with whom she made her home, and two sons James ( Rosemary ) of Struthers and John ( Debra ) Protain of Campbell; and a sister Annamae ( Norman ) Chase of Colorado Springs, Colorado; she also leaves seven grandchildren James ( Robin) Protain, Dr. Joseph ( Dr. Alison ) Protain, Stacey ( Dave ) Hill, Kimberly ( Tom ) Strimple, Randi ( Matt ) McElhinny, Kristy Protain, Christopher Protain and 11 great grandchildren. She was Preceded in death by a sister Gertrude Coleman and a brother Chester Wetherbee. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Fox Funeral Home
