Boardman-Frances E. Wagner, 62 Memorial services will be Saturday at the Old North Church of Canfield for Frances E. Wagner, 62 of Boardman who went to meet the Lord Tuesday morning after a courageous battle with cancer. Frances was born June 4, 1947 in Youngstown a daughter of Vincent and Mildred Larson Carney and has been a life long area resident. She was a 1965 graduate of East High School. She was a home maker who was so loved and gave so much love to her family, as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. One of her lifelong joys was giving to numerous charities which she believed in. She had the utmost respect and honor for all law enforcement agencies, especially the Boardman Police Department whom her son is a member. Frances thoroughly enjoyed tropical and country music and was an undeniable "Parrothead". Her husband Ronald D. Wagner whom she married Dec. 1, 1967, died Jan. 2, 2006. She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter Tracey Wagner Ramun of Canfield, a son Darrell V. (Cindy) Wagner of Boardman; A brother Michael Carney of Rogers; a sister Nancy Vari of Boardman; four grandchildren Gracie, Gavin, Abigail and Camille whom she adored and truly loved to spend time with. She also leaves four beloved cats, Blue, Frisco, Little Bear and Dottie who brought her joy. The Wagner family wishes to thank the staff of the Hospice House for their love and compassion given to Frances.
