Obituary

Frank G. Cuculich Sr., 91 "Together Again" AUSTINTOWN - Prayers will be at 9:45 a.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by the Rev. Joseph S. Rudjak at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter & Paul Church in Youngstown, for Frank G. Cuculich Sr., 91, who passed away Monday evening. Frank was born Sept. 18, 1919, in Chicago, a son of Stanislav and Zora Cuculich. He was a boiler engineer in the fuel and power department of the Brier Hill Works of the Youngstown Sheet & Tube, retiring in 1980, after 34 years of service. Frank was an active member of St. Peter & Paul Church and was a usher, custodian and a member of parish council. He enjoyed roller skating, golfing, bowling and was a member of the Steel Valley Harmonica Club. Frank was an Army veteran serving in the European Theater during World War II. His wife, the former Helen F. Globun, whom he married Aug. 10, 1946, passed away Dec. 13, 2007. He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters Roseanne (Al) Wall of Boardman and Theresa Hale of Austintown; several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. Besides his wife, Frank was preceded in death by a son, Frank Cuculich Jr.; a son-in-law, Roy Hale; two sisters, Rose Cuculich and Anne Byce; and a brother, Stanley Cuculic. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Joseph Vlasic. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman. Frank's family wishes to thank Dr. Ravinder Nath for his exceptional care though out the many years.
