Obituary

Frank Senary BOARDMAN -Frank Senary joined the love of his life, Margret, in heaven on April 24, 2015. Frank was born on Feb. 15, 1920, in Avella, Pa. to John and Julia (Metro) Szenyeri. Frank graduated from Scienceville High School in 1938. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) for two years, building roads and bridges throughout the country. During the start of World War II, Frank was called to duty to serve in the South Pacific in the sixth combat engineers, obtaining the rank of First Sergeant. He was the recipient of three Bronze Stars for his service in the recapture of the Philippines and New Guinea. He had just recently visited the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C. through the Honor Flight of Cleveland, with his best friend, Paul Paris. Frank retired from General Fireproofing after 41 years service. Frank married Margret Brincko on Oct. 4, 1952. After more than 50 years of holding hands everyday, she passed away on May 31, 2007. Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John, Joseph, Alex; and sisters, Julia Soltesz and Ann Nations. He was a member of St. George Byzantine Catholic Church and served on the church council and volunteered at many church functions, his volunteer work also extend to the St. Vincent Depaul Society. He leaves daughter Mary Kay (Deley) and husband Ed of Chardon and James and wife Debra of Boardman and three grandchildren, Ashley (Dahlberg) and her husband, Bryan, Brittany (fiancAC. Grant Collister) and Kathleen Deley. Frank was intensely independent, living in his own home, driving up until last year, still playing golf and watching and attending Cleveland Indian games. He was an avid reader of history books and was still intently curious about how things worked. Frank's greatest love was his wife, Margret, (we found hundreds of cards they exchanged in a well organized file). His second greatest love was being with his children and especially his grandchildren. He was a strong believer in Jesus Christ and heaven eternal. He always reminded each of his children and grandchildren of how much he loved them by saying "I love you" all the time. We found this hand written obituary and note saying how much he loved his family in his dresser. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated by the Rev. Richard Lambert on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at 11 a.m. at St. George Byzantine Catholic Church. Friends and family may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home.
