There will be services on Saturday at 12 p.m. at the Fox Funeral Home , celebrated by Rev. Edward P. Noga for Gary J. Horvath, 52, who passed away on Saturday October 15, at North Side Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Gary was born August 20, 1964, in Youngstown, a son of Joseph L. and Tillie M. Gampetro Horvath, and was a lifelong area resident. He was a 1982 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, he was a Carpenter by trade who worked in Construction, Gary could fix anything he was a " Jack of all Trades" . He was a member of St. Joseph Church and was a diehard Minnesota Vikings fan. Gary always laughed and smiled, despite his ALS he never complained. He leaves to cherish his memory his Sister Linda ( Rod ) Hamilton of Canfield, whom Gary had been making his home with and his brother Kevin Horvath of Youngstown and sister Lisa Kennedy of Columbus. He also leaves his niece and nephews, Ryan ( Sarah ) Hamilton; Krista ( Mike ) Gettan ; Alec and Tyler Kennedy , and great nieces Brinnley Hamilton and Aubrey Gettan. Gary also leaves his beloved dog Kilo. The family has asked that any memorial tributes be given to ALS Association Northern Ohio Chapter 6155 Rockside Road Suit 403, Independence, Ohio 44131. Family and friends may call Saturday from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. at the Fox Funeral Home.
