Genevieve "Jennie" Dorante, 92 AUSTINTOWN- ­ There was a private service held Thursday at Fox Funeral Home for Genevieve "Jennie" Dorante, 92, who passed away peacefully Monday evening at Humility House. Jennie was born June 13, 1921, in Sicily, Italy a daughter of Joseph & Josephine Gallo Dorante and was a Youngstown area resident since childhood. Jennie was a homemaker and a long time parishioner of St. Columba parish.

She leaves to cherish her memory her brother Carl Dorante of McDonald and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Jennie was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Dorante and sisters, Frances Sferra and Eleanor Chiappetta.
