North Lima, Gertrude G. Ferencak, 96. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 Wednesday at St. Dominic Church, for Gertrude G. Ferencak, 96 of North Lima, formerly of Boardman, who passed away peacefully Sunday morning. Gertrude was born January 1, 1920 in Youngstown, a daughter of Michael and Mary Tekach Timko. She was a 1937 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and was a secretary for Anthony Vivo. Gertrude was active at St. Dominic Church, Catholic Daughters, Rosary Altar and a member of the Boardman Historical Society. Her husband Irwin L. Ferencak, whom she married Oct 29, 1938, passed away Feb 8, 1972. She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Georgia (Alexander) Kidd of Boardman, two sons Gerald (Dolores) Ferencak of Struthers and Thomas (Diane) Ferencak of Tallahassee, Florida, a brother David (Janet) Dates Austintown, three grandchildren Alexander (Nina) Kidd IV, Laura (Brett) Schaller and Nicholas Ferencak, and one great grand child Sarah Schaller. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 Wednesday at St. Dominic Church.
