Gladys Marie Buksar, 94 BOARDMAN - There will be a Mass of Christian burial held at Saint Charles Church at 10 a.m. on Tuesday , Celebrated by the Rev. Philip Rogers, for Gladys Marie Buksar, 94, who passed away peacefully Saturday morning, at the Hospice House. Gladys was born Oct. 23, 1921, in Youngstown, daughter of Stewart and Susan Duffy Ritter, and was a lifelong area resident. She attended The Rayen School and was a homemaker, a member of Saint Charles Church and its over 55 Club. Her Husband , John Joseph Buksar, whom she married Sept. 27, 1947, in Youngstown , passed away April of 1994. Gladys leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Jean (Gregory ) Allen of Haymarket, Va.; and her three grandchildren, Jonathan Hill of Pittsburgh, Andrea Hill of Mandeville, La. and Lindsay Tereba of Haymarket, Va.; as well as her two great-grandchildren, Othyem and Liam Pettijohn. Gladys also leaves her sister, Helen Nogay of Hermitage , Pa.; and her two sisters-in-law, Louise Ritter of Canfield and Marge Ritter of Kinsman. Besides her husband and her parents, Gladys, was preceded in death by her daughter, Suzanne Hill who passed away in 1989; and her brothers, Paul, Thomas and William Ritter; and her sisters, Pauline Weimer and Dorothy Fox. Family and friends may call Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman, OH 44512 and also from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, prior to mass at St. Charles Church.
