Harold J. "Hade" Treharne, 81 BOARDMAN- Services will be 4 p.m. Friday in Zion Lutheran Church in Cornersburg, for Harold J. " Hade "Treharne who died Monday evening at his residence . Harold was born November 27, 1924 in Youngstown, a son of David and Irma Elliot Treharne. He was a 1943 graduate of Chaney High School. He had a career spanning over 60 years as an industrial salesman employed by J.B. Winkle Company and Economy Electric. He retired in 1997 as executive vice president of J.B. Winkle, Canfield. After retiring, he took a position as sales representative at Grid Company in Salem. Harold was lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Army Air Corps serving in WWII as a radio operator , He flew missions out of Buckingham England. He was formerly a 32nd degree Mason and an avid golfer, spending many years as a member of Salem Golf Club and Sebring Golf Club. Family was a very big part of his life, Beatrice McPhail, his wife of 51 years passed away in 1994, he remarried the former Virginia Porter, on November 19, 1999, he leaves four sons, Harold W. (Betty) Treharne, of Sparta, WS, Charles R. (Carol) Treharne Sr. of Austintown, Jonathan B. (Rena) Treharne of Uniontown, OH and Charles R. (Mary) Treharne Jr. of Boardman; his extended family, F. Scott (Annie) Dull of Clayton, NC, and Georgianna (Robbie) McGuire of Canfield; a sister, Virginia (Clegg) Mounier of Dunedin, FL; a brother, Robert E. Treharne of Edgewater, FL; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a brother, David W. Treharne. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman and from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday at the church.
