Obituary

Harry "Hap" Huffman, 83 YOUNGSTOWN - Harry "Hap" Huffman, 83, unexpectedly passed away Wednesday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Harry was born on July 5, 1929, in Youngstown, a son of Homer and Doris Mayfield Huffman and had been a lifelong area resident. After leaving high school, he joined the Army, primarily serving in Germany. Hap worked as a bail bond specialist for Liberty Bail Bonding, and was in the industry for over 40 years. He was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous and various veteran's associations. He shared the love of the Bonding Business and his life with Bernadine Mary Mathews, who preceded him in death. He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Lynda (Marco) Cittadini of Columbia Station; a grandson, Marc Cittadini of Columbus; and a sister, Gail (Monte) Campbell of Youngstown. Besides his parents and Bernadine, Harry was preceded in death by his brother, Edwin Huffman. Family and friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. in Boardman. Family and close friends may attend an adult gathering immediately following.
