Helen G. Grodzki, 91 YOUNGSTOWN - There were private services held for Helen G. Grodzki, 91, who passed away Tuesday morning at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boardman. Helen was born February 5, 1923 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Matthew and Julia Mruk Guzzy and has been a life-long area resident. She graduated from South High School and was a veteran serving in the United States Navy. Helen was a homemaker and worked for General Electric for many years. She was a long time member of St. Dominic Parish and helped at St. Stanislaus making their pierogis. She will be greatly missed by her two sisters, Stella DiMiaolo of Youngstown, Genevie Joseph of Penbrooke Pines, FL and several nephews and nieces. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Merle Grodzki; her son, Philip (Linda) Grodzki; her sister Mary Trenik and her four brothers, John, Stanley, Edward and Joseph Guzzy. Arrangements have been handled by the Fox Funeral Home.
