Boardman- Howard J. Porter, 81. Funeral Services will be 11 A.M. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman for Howard J. Porter, 81 of Boardman who passed away Tuesday evening . Howard was born June 28, 1928 in Craig Beach a son of Joseph & Helen Randolph Porter.. He worked at the Ohio Works of U.S. Steel and then drove truck for People's Cartage.. Howard belonged to Teamsters Local 92. He loved to play the lottery, spending time with his friends, playing horse shoes, and driving truck. He received many safe driving awards. His wife the former Margaret A. Kerr whom he married Aug 30, 1953, died Jan 5, 1995. He leaves to cherish his memory a daughter Pamela (William) Gretsinger of Boardman and two grand daughters Jessica (James) Martin and Kerry Gretsinger. Besides his wife he is preceded in death by a daughter Marcia Joy Porter, a son Howard Porter and a sister Virginia Porter. Friends may call 10 to 11 A.M. Friday at The Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
