Irene F. Ramps, 98, of Boardman, passed away peacefully Thursday morning April 24, 2025.

She was born on March 15, 1927, in Youngstown, a daughter of Frank and Frances Sitarczyk.

Irene was a 1946 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and throughout her career as a self-employed housekeeper, she developed many friendships.

She was a longtime member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.  Her husband Michael F. Ramps, whom she married in 1947, passed away May 30, 1976.  She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons Timothy Ramps, Michael (Rita) Ramps and Frank (Jane) Ramps, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Robert, Theodore, Adolf, Michael, Alfred, Lenard and Louis, and sister Emily Susinka and Alice Dudek.

There are no calling hours or funeral services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Edward J. Fox & Sons Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. Boardman.
