Isabelle J. Costello, 86 CANFIELD- There will prayers at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Dominic Church celebrated by Rev. William Rock for Isabelle J. Costello, 86, who passed away Thursday evening at her residence. Isabelle was born June 26, 1928 in Methel Hill Scotland, a daughter of Thomas and Isabelle Johnston Barkerhill and moved to the Youngstown area as a child. She graduated from South High School with the Class of 1946. She worked as a bookkeeper for Valley Tire & Oil, a saleswoman for Strouss and McKelveys and worked at the G.E. Mazda Lamp Plant. Isabelle was a long time member of St. Dominic's parish and was an Aide at MCBDD. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed by her husband Edward P. Costello whom she married May 16, 1949 just celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary. She will also be missed by her two sons, Edward (Mary Ann) Costello and Thomas (Jodi) Costello both of Boardman; two daughters, Lynn (Jerry) Gaudio of Columbiana, Kathleen (John) Nardelli of Boardman; a sister Elizabeth Kelly of Youngstown; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren one especially, Lacie Katcher. Besides her parents, Isabelle was preceded in death by a son Patrick Costello and a sister Thomasina Blackiston. Friends may call from 5 p.m to 7 p.m. Monday at Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
