Obituary

James F. Buchman, 87. Prayers will be 1 P.M. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. Bernard Timothy, O.P., at 1:30 At St. Dominic Church, Youngstown, James F. Buchman, 87 of Boardman, who passed away peacefully Thursday morning. James was born November 20, 1928 in Youngstown, a son of Carl and Anna Dugan Buchman. He was a 1947 graduate of Ursuline High School and worked along side his father-in-law Chester Torello at Chester Torello Concrete Contractors. James was a member of St. Dominic Church, a life member of the Youngstown Saxon Club, Youngstown Maennerchor and Local 179 Plasterers and Cement Masons. He was an Army veteran stationed in Europe. His wife the former Louise A. Torello, whom he married September 12, 1953, passed away July 2, 2010. He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters Alexia T. (Philip) Kreuzwieser of North Canton and Elise M. (James) Wallace of New Franklin, a brother William Buchman of Youngstown , two sisters Mary Phaus of Tenn., and Lois McCartan of Chagrin Falls, four grandchildren Christopher, Ryan and James Wallace, and Clare Louise Kreuzwieser and two great grandchildren, Cora and Ayla Wallace.. Besides his wife and parents, James is preceded in death by a brother C. Robert Buchman and a sister Inez Rizer.
