Boardman, James J. Cosgrove, 90. Prayers will be 1 P.M. Tuesday At the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev Philip Rogers at 1:30 at St. Charles Church, Boardman for James J. Cosgrove, 90 of Boardman who passed away Thursday evening. James was born August 24, 1919 in Youngstown, Ohio a son of James & Theresa Curtin Cosgrove. He was a 1938 graduate of South High School and attended Millikin University and the University of Hartford. James was a General Accountant and Cost Engineer on several major construction projects though out the United States and was the founder and treasurer of Quasar Construction of Cleveland. James was a member of St. Charles Church, the Saxon Club, National Rifle Association, a life member of the Elks and Past Noble Grand of the Oddfellows and the Amos. He loved to bowl and play bocce. His wife the former Elizabeth J. Wherley, whom he married June 16, 1951, died February 7, 2003. He leaves to cherish his memory a son Michael (Kathleen) Cosgrove of Columbus, Ohio and a grand daughter Kris(Joe) Hamilton of Ashville, New York.. Besides his wife he is preceded in death by two brothers Donald V. Cosgrove, John F. Cosgrove and two sisters Coletta Cosgrove and Eileen R. .Cosgrove.
