James Michael Frantz, 69 YOUNGSTOWN-- Funeral services will be 9:30 A.M. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, and 10 A.M. in Saint Charles Church both in Boardman for James Michael Frantz who died Saturday morning. James was born June 24, 1938, in Youngstown, a son of John Thomas & Rhoda Catherine Cable Frantz. He first worked for Youngstown Sheet & Tube in the seamless pipe mill and then for The Lyden Oil Co., managing the station at Route 224 and Tippecanoe Road. He was a member of the church and was a Eucharistic minister. His wife, the former Dolores C. Gross, whom he married June 24, 1969, died March 31, 1993. He leaves a son, Michael Frantz of Girard; two daughters, Darlene (Bob) McKinney of Boardman and Kathy (Louis) Gordon of Liberty; a brother, John (Twila) Frantz of Austintown; two sisters, Sr. Janet Frantz, O.S.U. of Canfield and Patricia (Jack) Marshall of Youngtsown; six grandchildren, Matthew, Katelyn, Ian, Aaron, Jessica, & Stephanie, and three great grandchildren. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane. Friends may call 4 to 7 P.M. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
