JAMES FRANCIS LEE, 85 POLAND - A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Rev. Kevin Peters at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Angela Merici Church, 400 Lincoln Park Road, Youngstown for James F. Lee, 85 who passed away Wednesday morning at Masternick Memorial Healthcare Center, after a lengthy illness. James was born Nov. 7, 1930, in Grove City, Pa., a son of Myron Edward and Marguerite C. Magner Lee. James is a descendent of B.F. Lee, founder of the Poland Seminary High School in Poland. He was a graduate of The Rayen School, he was in the U.S. Air Force, from 1951 to 1955, serving in computer programs engineering. James married his beloved wife, Lois Zins on May 29, 195,2 at St. Dominic Church. Lois passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2015.They were married for 63 years. James along with his wife, founded and co-owned the Youngstown Technological Institute, Lee Run Golf Course and Cedarwood Lodge. James was a member of St. Angela Merici Church, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus; Youngstown Oldtimers Baseball association, member of the PGA and Golf Pro at Lee Run, South Side Kiwanis and inducted into the Curbstone Coaches Hall of Fame in 2011. James leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Terry (George) Schuler of Poland; and his three grandchildren , Tracy (Jim) Vivo, George (Jami) Schuler and Jenny (Yianni) Kalouris; and five great-grandchildren, Samuel, Drew, Julia, Sophia and Macey, with Emily Lee on the way. James was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Lois Zins; and his brother, Jack Lee. Friends and family may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Angela Merici Church .
