A Mass will be celebrated by Rev. William Rock, O.P., at 10 am Saturday at St. Dominic Church for Jean E. Liana, 94 of Poland who passed away peacefully Thursday morning. Jean was born July 21, 1921 in Youngstown, a daughter of William E & Janet Sneddon O'Donnell, Sr.. She was a 1939 graduate of Struthers High School and worked as a retail clerk at W.T. Grant and the Hallmark Store in the Southern Park Mall. A 66 year member of St. Dominic Church, Jean was active in the Rosary Altar Society, taught C.C.D., and was a principal of that program. Her husband John J. Liana, whom she married June 24, 1950, passed away October 11, 1989. She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons John (Susan) Liana of Poland and James Liana of Mayfield Heights, and a sister Margaret (Peggy) Sawyer of Temple, Texas. Besides her husband, Jean is preceded in death by a sister Marian Vincent and two brothers William O'Donnell, Jr., and John O'Donnell. Friends may call from 9 to 9:50 Saturday at Dominic Church.
