Obituary

Estero, FL -Jess L. Williman, 86 There will be private services held for Jess L. Williman, 86 who died Saturday afternoon at Life Care Center of Estero, Florida. Jess was born on April 24, 1925 in Youngstown the son of Earl L. and Ora Cypher Williman and was a lifelong area resident until his retirement. He was a 1943 graduate of South High School, attended Youngstown College and Westminster College where he received his Masters degree in Psychology. He was a veteran from the United States Army air corp. serving during WWII as a gunner in the 729th and the 452nd bomb squadrons where he received the Purple Heart. Jess retired as an Assistant Principal from Poland High School in 1979 after 32 years as an educator and he also worked at East High School and Science Hill Junior High. He also worked part time for over 15 years at Fox Funeral Home. He was a long time member of the Ohio Educational Association and very involved with the Disabled American Veterans. Jess was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing cards. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Lucille Moss of Bonita Springs, FL. whom he married in 2003; his son Jeffrey D.(Michele) Williman of Jacksonville, FL. ; a daughter, Karen Ruebsamen of Alaska; two step-daughters, Marie Moss Ackerman and Beth Moss Fesler both of Bonita Springs; two grandsons, Christopher Williman and Jacob Williman both of Jacksonville,Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria R. Reakes Williman who died in 2002 after 45 years of marriage.
