Joann Haaheim, 81 AUSTINTOWN - There will be prayers at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home followed by a Resurrection Mass at St. Patrick's Church at 10 a.m celebrated by Fr. Edward Noga for Joann Haaheim, 81, who passed away Monday morning at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Youngstown. Joann was born December 19, 1933 in Youngstown, a daughter of Rodger and Bertha Price Walsh and was a life-long area resident. She graduated from Villa Maria High School with the Class of 1951. Joann was a long time member of St. Patrick's parish. She was a homemaker and was the owner/operator of VIS-U-LITE an eyeglass and jewelry cleaning business. She leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters, Sonja (Bud) Maimone of Poland, Allyson DeSalvo of New Middletown; five sons, Dan Niehorster of Austintown, James Niehorster of Austintown, Edward Niehorster of Youngstown, Joseph Niehorster of Youngstown, David Haaheim of Portland, OR; two sisters, Shirley Schindler of Austintown, Noreen Mazon of Boardman; a brother, John "Jack" Walsh of Youngstown; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Joann has been preceded in death by a son John Niehorster; a sister, Carole Treese; two brothers, James and Robert Walsh.
