Jocelyn A. Kocanyar, 85 AUSTINTOWN - Funeral Services will take place at 1 p.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Russ Adams for Jocelyn A. Kocanyar, 85, who passed away Monday evening at Hospice House. Jocelyn was born December 30, 1929 in Youngstown, a daughter of Edmund and Emily McGonagle Adams. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and has been a life-long area resident. Jocelyn was a home maker and retired from working as a custodian at Chaney High School for over 20 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed taking day trips with her family and friends. Her husband of 35 years, Peter G. Kocanyar, whom she married in July of 1952, passed away in 1987. She will be greatly missed by her son, Jeff (JoAnn) Kocanyar of Berlin Center; her daughter Sue Kocanyar of Woodenville, WA; and three grandchildren, Jake, Jill and Julie Kocanyar. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a brother, Merle Adams. Friends may call from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Friday at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman
