John Norman Blue Sr., 79 BOARDMAN - There will be a funeral service at 6 p.m., Friday, at the Fox Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Peter DelNagro, for John Norman Blue Sr., 79, who passed away Tuesday morning, at Shepherd of the Valley in Boardman. John was born Dec. 19, 1935, in Delaware, Ohio, a son of Clay E. and Leona Thomas Blue, and moved to the Youngstown area as a child. He graduated from South High School and had been mostly a life-long area resident. John served his country as a coreman in the U.S. Navy, serving as a medic during the Korean conflict. He worked at the Fox Funeral Home during his teenage years, also working as a salesman for Mars Candy Company, and retired from Local No. 64 IBEW as an electrician. John enjoyed traveling, NASCAR, sweet desserts and spending time with his loved ones. He will be greatly missed by his beloved companion of 23 years, Margie McGraw of Boardman; his two daughters, Kyle (Anthony) Ruman of Niles and Dawn Beaver of Leetonia; a son, John (Debbie) Blue Jr. of The Woodlands, Texas; MargieA
