Youngstown - John C. "Bud" Manning Jr. ,89 There will be a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. John Keehner at 10 a. m. Monday at St. Columba Cathedral for John C. "Bud" Manning Jr.,89 who passed away Thursday morning at Meridian Arms Nursing Home. Bud was born April 28, 1921 in Youngstown, a son of John C. Manning Sr. and Mary Guerin Manning. He was a graduate of Ursuline High School, and attended St. Joseph's College in Collegeville, IN. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Bud worked at Niles Expanded Metals Company, was a parishioner at St. Columba and was a food bank volunteer. He leaves a sister Theresa A. Kelly of Lake Park, FL. and several nieces and nephews. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Manning and Fred Manning and a sister, Mary E. McKesson. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 9:55 a.m. at the church prior to the service.
