John Cimaglia, 94 BOARDMAN - There were private services held for John Cimaglia, 94, who passed away Saturday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical center in Boardman. John was born May 2, 1920 in Youngstown a son of Achille and Amelia Greco Cimaglia and has been a lifelong area resident. He graduated from North High School and received his degree from Youngstown, College. John was a veteran who served his country with the United States Army during WWII.. He worked for the Internal Revenue Service as an agent retiring in 1980 after working for 33 years. John enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Carol Osberg whom he married on June 13, 1953 just celebrating their 61st wedding anniversary. He will also be missed by his two sons; Glen Cimaglia and Donald Cimaglia both of Boardman and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents John was preceded in death by his two brothers, Fred and Dominic Cimaglia and his sister Lucy Conti. John's family would like to thank his caregivers, Margie, Theresa (Marissa & Jerrod), Shirley, Jim and Joan for their wonderful Care given to John. The family request that monetary donations be made in John's Memory to your charity of choice. Services were entrusted to the staff of the Fox Funeral Home.
