John W. Draia Jr., 68 BOARDMAN - There will be prayers at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Church for John W. Draia Jr., 68, who died Sunday morning at Hospice House. John was born in Youngstown, on Nov. 30, 1943, a son of John W. and Margaret Ferguson Draia Sr., and was a lifelong area resident. He attended Cardinal Mooney High School and graduated with the Class of 1962. John worked at General Motors until retirement, and then worked part time at Reserve Run Golf Course. He was a member of St. Charles Parish and was involved in Monday Night Golf League at Valley Golf Club. He leaves to treasure his memories, his three sons, John C., Chris W., and Michael J. Draia of Boardman; his mother, Margaret Draia of North Lima; his sister, Patricia (Charles) Troll of North Lima; a grandson, Jordan Draia of Youngstown; his ex-wife, Geraldine Draia of New Middletown; a niece, Tina Bukovi; a nephew, Chuck Troll; three great-nephews, Trevar, Charles, and Christopher; and four great-nieces, Catherine, Christine, Caroline, and Clare. He was preceded in death by his father, John Sr. In lieu of flowers, the family request that any monetary donations be made Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Road, Poland, OH 44514.
