John E. Flint, 91 CANFIELD-John E. Flint ,91 passed away on March 12,2014. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio on August 26, 1922. He was preceded in death by his father Frank Flint and his mother Louise Halt Flint. He married on March 8, 1943 to Margaret M Flint (Filbert) in Madison , Wisconsin. He leaves a daughter Patricia L. Minzner of Lawrenceburg, IN and sons John E. (Karen) Flint Jr. of Clearwater, FL and Randall M. Flint of Alliance. He leaves a sister Barbara Williams of Austintown, a brother David Flint of Exton, PA and Frank Flint who preceded him in death. He leaves grandchildren Jon (Karen) Minzner of Independence, KY, Margaret Minzner of Lawrenceburg, IN, Wally Minzner who preceded him in death, Jay Flint of Jacksonville, FL, Scott Flint of Clearwater, Carly and Molly Flint of Alliance, and four great grandchildren, Greta Kozarek, Kate and Ian Minzner and Olivia Flint. Mr. Flint was a graduate of South High School and a veteran of WWII with the Army Air Corps serving in the Philippines. He was employed by Keystone Trucking, A & P Grocery and retired in 1980 from Schwebel's Baking Co. He worked a total of 38 years affiliated with Teamsters Local #377. He was a member of St. Michael's Parish and a charter member of St Christine Parish and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

In lieu of flowers the Flint family requests any monetary donations be made in John's name to St. Michael's Parish Building Fund, 300 N. Broad St, Canfield, OH 44406. Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Fox Funeral Home.
