John F. Herman, 88 YOUNGSTOWN - A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, celebrated by the Rev. Philip Rogers at Saint Charles Church for John F. Herman, 88, who passed away Friday at Park Vista Nursing Home. John was born Nov. 10, 1922, in Campbell, the son of Otto B. and Genevieve Herman. John attended Hubbard High School, worked at Republic Steel as crane man and electrical for 40 years, retiring in 1982. He belonged to Saint Charles Church, he belonged to Happy Days at Bethlem Lutheran and enjoyed painting and traveling with his wife. His wife, Anne Dundon whom he married April 25, 1959, died Oct. 28, 2009. John leaves to cherish his memory, his niece, Mary Ann Marshall; nephew Ken Schulz; great-nieces Karen Klem and Sheryl Villers; and two great-great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Herman and a sister, Lucy Hess. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
