John A. "Jack" Dahman, 77 There will be a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Friday at Lockwood United Methodist Church in Youngstown for John A. "Jack" Dahman, 77 who died Tuesday morning at his residence surrounded by his family. Jack was born on October 7,1933 in Youngstown a son of Myrle and Mary Jane Creighton Dahman and was a lifelong area resident. He was a 1951 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and was a veteran from the United States Army. Jack worked as a machinist for McKay Machine Company/ Wean United retiring in 1993 after 42 years. He was a long time trustee and member of Lockwood United Methodist Church, a past secretary and member of USWA Union local #7275 and a member of branch 30 Saxon Club of Youngstown. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Mary Ann Miller whom he married August 25, 1955; his three daughters, Jana (Rick) Parker of Chagrin Falls, Lauri (Andrew) Kuchmaner of Canfield, Diane (Jeffrey) LaPorte of Missoula, MT.; two brothers, William Dahman of Austintown, Richard Dahman of The Villages, FL.; seven grandchildren, Ryan Kuchmaner, Aric Parker, Andrew Kuchmaner, Jaclyn Parker, Collin LaPorte, Christopher LaPorte and Garret Kuchmaner. Memorial contributions can be made in Jack's memory to Lockwood United Methodist Church, 4570 Lockwood Blvd., Youngstown, OH 44511 or to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St. Boardman, OH 44512. Friends may visit one half- hour prior to the services at the Church.
