John "Jack" P. Tucci, 79 BOARDMAN-Prayers will be 10 A.M. Thursday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 , celebrated by Rev. Gregory Maturi, O.P. at St. Dominic Church, Youngstown, for John "Jack" P. Tucci, who passed away Monday evening at his home.. John was born June 28, 1932 in Youngstown, a son of David & Isabel Mahan Tucci. He was a 1951 graduate of Ursuline High School and attended Youngstown College. John worked for Averbach Pharmaceutical and then went to worked for Astro-Shapes as a supervisor retiring in 1994. He was a member of St. Dominic Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Ancient order of Hibernians. John enjoyed watching sports, playing cards and spending time with his family. He was a Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife the former Dorothy Hutch, whom he married July 11, 1964, three sons John H. (Julie) Tucci of Rocky River, Danny Tucci and Michael (Tracie) Tucci both of Boardman, a daughter Mary Helen (Tony) Korleski of Wilmington, North Carolina., six grandchildren Brian, David, Angela, Christina, Erika and Marlissa and a nephew Patrick Mahoney. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Donna Mahoney. Friends may call from 4 to 7 Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
