John P. Schneider Boardman, John P. Schneider, Prayers will be 10:30 A.M. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev Philip Rogers at 11 A.M. at St. Charles Church, for John P. Schneider, of Boardman, who passed away peacefully Wednesday afternoon, with his loving family by his side. John was born in Youngstown, a son of Eugene and Marie Amon Schneider. He was a South High School graduate and served in the army in 1944 qualifying as a marksman. After being discharged, John became a brick layer and an auxiliary policeman for Boardman. He was a member of St. Charles Church and the Brick Layers Union # 8. John enjoyed driving stock cars, with his late brother Richard at the Canfield and Sharon Speedways. His wife the former Marion C. Robinson, whom he married May 22, 1948, passed away July 9, 2006. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving children Diane (Gary) Krohn of Austintown, Donald (Tonja) Schneider of North Lima, Dorothy (Dave) Erck of Boardman and Daniel Schneider of Boardman, sister Regina Sanko of Boardman, twelve grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.. Besides his parents and wife, John is preceded in death by a Infant daughter, a son David Schneider, brothers Robert, Richard, Joseph, and Eugene and sisters Margaret McCarthy, Mary Ann Uray and Ruth Robinson.
