Joseph Daniel Sliman Jr., 91 Memorial services will be at 5 p.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home, celebrated by Rev. Edward Noga for Joseph Daniel Sliman Jr., 91, who passed away Tuesday morning at Masternick Memorial Health Care. Joseph was born January 26,1921, in Youngstown, a son of Joseph D and Sue Sullivan Sliman Sr. and has been a lifelong area resident. He graduated from South High School with the class of 1940 and received his college degree from Youngstown College. He served in the United States Army Airforce and is a World War II veteran. He worked in the Data Processing Center at Republic Steel until retiring on January 31, 1983. He was an avid bridge player involved in both Warren and Southside Bridge Clubs. Joseph enjoyed watching college football, especially when he was rooting for Ohio State. His wife Rita Mae Osborne whom he married December 7, 1944 died on October 10, 1977. He will be missed by his two children , Lynn (Jim) Motosko of Poland and Joseph D. (Chris) Sliman III of Boardman; a grandson Jim Motosko of Las Vegas, NV; a brother, Dan Sliman of Tampa, FL.
