Boardman- Joseph A. Taraszewski, 77. Family & friends will gather from 9 a.m until the service at 11 A.M. Wednesday at The Fox Funeral Home, Boardman to celebrate the life & memory of Joseph Taraszewski, who passed away Sunday at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. Joseph was born Feb 8 , 1932 in Youngstown a son of Alexander And Lottie Taraszewski. He graduated from South High School where he Excelled in athletics, especially basketball. He attended the Rayen School of Engineering at Youngstown University, while beginning his career at Youngstown Sheet & Tube, where he worked until 1969. Joseph then was employed at Copperweld Steel in Champion, until his retirement in 1997. He was a avid fisherman and golfer, at St. Dominic Elementary School he was active in the parish Booster Club, which assisted sports programs at the school. Along with his wife the former Carol Steinker, he was a longtime parishioner at St. Dominic. Joseph & Carol were married in Erie, Penna on November 24, 1956, besides his wife Joseph in survived by four children David Taraszewski, Stephen Taraszewski, Deborah (Christopher ) Wiles And Kevin (Cheryl) Taraszewski, his grandchildren Laura, Rachel, Jennifer and Joseph, his sisters Jane Kuzenko and Sophie Costello and many nieces and nephews. In Addition to his parents, Joseph is preceded in death by his brothers Terry (Walter), Ziggy (John), Hank (Eugene) and Check (Chester).
