Obituary

BOARDMAN - Josephine A. Anzelmo, 101 There will be prayers at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Fox Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St.Dominic Church for Josephine A. Anzelmo, 101 who died Thursday morning at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. Josephine was born in Youngstown on April 4, 1910 a daughter of Vito and Maria Lionelli Lonardo and was a lifelong area resident. She attended South High School and worked in her father Vito Lonardo's Floral Greenhouse. Josephine was a member of St. Dominic Parish since 1950 and part of the Altar Rosary Society. She was a homemaker and an excellent cook. Her husband, Anthony S. Anzelmo whom she married October 24, 1930, died on January 28, 1985. She leaves to treasure her memories her two sons, Francis (Gloria) Anzelmo of East Palestine, James (Marilyn) Anzelmo of Chillicothe; sister-in-law Antoinette Lonardo of Boardman; ten grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; eleven nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her three brothers; Michael, Howard and Arthur Lonardo and a grandson Anthony Anzelmo. The family wishes any memorial tributes to the Family's Favorite Charity. The family would like to thank the staff at Assumption and at Hospice of the Valley for the loving care that they extended to Josephine. Friends may call from 4 p.m. to7 p.m. Tuesday at Fox Funeral Home, Boardman.
