There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 11 AM at St. Charles Church, celebrated by Rev. Phil Rogers, for Julius R. Tareshawty, 87, who was peacefully called home Friday, July 21, 2017.
Julius was born on January 28, 1930 in Youngstown to Julius and Philomena Connonico Tareshawty. He attended Wilson High School and received his degree in Architecture at The Ohio State University. He served as 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force during The Korean War. Julius was a life-long resident of Youngstown and an accomplished and respected Architect. His memory lives on in the many local buildings he designed. Beyond his life as an Architect, Julius enjoyed developing and investing in real estate.
Julius' life centered around his family. He brought happiness to all their lives and to the lives of many others who knew him. He will be remembered as a good friend, loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary (Aulisio) Tareshawty, whom he married in 1957; four children, Renee Tareshawty of Cuyahoga Falls, Janine Tareshawty of Boardman, Brian (Shannon) Tareshawty of Canfield and Craig (Deana) Tareshawty also of Canfield, as well as his eight cherished grandchildren, Christopher (Jennifer) Zwisler, Courtney (Nelson) Estrela, Tyler, Gabrielle, Bryson, Cameron, Madelyn and Gavin Tareshawty; and great-grandchild Vera Rose Zwisler. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Lola Cerimele, Theresa Viglio and Louise LoSasso.
Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 PM on Monday, July 24 at The Fox Funeral Home, 4700 Market Street, in Boardman. Julius' family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to all the healthcare professionals for their kindness and excellent care.
