June F. Pusateri, 94 POLAND - There will be funeral services held at 11 a.m. Monday at Old North Church, celebrated by Pastor Brent Allen for June F. Pusateri, 94, who passed away Friday morning at Assumption Village . June was born August 30, 1917, in Nortonville Kentucky, a daughter of David and Mamie Ashby Whitfield and has been a Youngstown area resident since 1945.June was a homemaker and was a member of Golden Heirs Senior Citizens of Old North Church. Her husband, Thomas E. Pusateri whom she married January 6, 1945 died on January 2, 1985 just days short of their fortieth wedding anniversary. Being a positive person of strong faith, a quote from Mother Theresa embodies her spirit: "there are no great acts, only small acts done with great love." She was always ready with an encouraging phone call, Aa timely card or a gift of food. She loved plants and flowers and therefore the family requests any material contributions be made to the Friends of Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave, Yo.OH 44509. She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Dr. Gene J. (Susan Miracle) Pusateri of Liberty, Dr. Thomas (Janice) Whitfield of Charlotte, NC, a daughter, Frances (Carl) Dingledy of Houston, TX; six grandchildren, Matthew, David, Cody, Callen, Jennifer, Marie; and three great- grandchildren, Hayes, Lilly and Hope. Besides her husband and parents, June was preceded in death by her brother, Glover Whitfield and two sisters, Joyce Hughlet and Elaine Key. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Fox Funeral Home and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at Old North Church, 7105 Herbert Rd, Canfield, Ohio.
