Karen Ann Lenhart, 44 VENICE, FL.-Karen Ann Lenhart passed into eternal rest on Sept. 13, 2006, at her home in Venice. She was 44. Karen was born Sept. 29, 1961 in Youngstown, OH to Bill and Sally Lenhart and was the granddaughter of the late Postmaster and Mrs. John E. Doyle. She graduated from Villa Maria High School, Villa Maria, PA and received her bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University. She owned and managed a Christian Family Book Store in Flagstaff, AZ prior to moving to Venice. Karen developed a website for breast cancer survivors so that women could communicate with each other, over the United States and Canada. They shared their fears, hopes and dreams of a future beyond cancer. Their motto was "NEVER, NEVER, NEVER GIVE UP." She will be sorely missed by this dedicated group of women. Karen left a legacy of LOVE. Love of God, love of family and love of her many friends. Karen is survived by her adoring son, Andrew J. Scott; her mother, Sally Lenhart of Venice and former husband, Dr. Roy E. Scott of Warren, OH . Karen was associated with Epiphany Cathedral, Venice and the Venice Church of the Nazarene. A celebration of her life will be held 11 a.m. Sat., Sept. 30th, at St. Charles Church in Boardman, OH. Memorial donations may be made to St. Charles Church 7327 Westview Dr. Boardman, OH 44512.
