Obituary

Kathleen L. (Weaver) Brownlie, 81 YOUNGSTOWN--Prayers will begin at 9:15 a.m. Monday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Saint Michael Church, celebrated by Father Terrence Hazel for Kathleen L. Brownlie, 81, who passed away Wednesday morning at her residence. Kathleen was born August 24, 1927, in Youngstown, the daughter of Earl E. Weaver and Catherine M. (Clark) Weaver. On May 11, 1946 she became the devoted and loving wife to husband, Richard J. Brownile who preceded her in death on February 22, 2006. Kathleen was a member of St. Michael Church, St. Christine Church and belonged to the Infant Jesus of Prague. She was also a member of the Ladies' Oriental Shrine. Kathleen's last employment was with 0' Connor's Sales and Service. Kathleen is survived by her brother, John C. (Patricia) Weaver of Canfield, her sister, Marjorie E. Hutcheson of Boardman, as well as her ten children. She had seven sons, Richard J. II (Debra), Robert J. and Roger J. all of Canfield, Randall J. of Pinellas Park, Florida, and Ronald J., Raymond J. and Rodney J., all of Youngstown. She had three daughters: Kathleen L. (Paul) Rogers of Boardman, Karen L. McClusky of Liberty Hill, Texas, and Kim L. (Mark) Norris of Canfield; fourteen grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Besides her beloved husband and parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her brother, Earl W. Weaver, sisters, Luana M. Jarvis and Dolores A. Marmagin; also her granddaughter, Lisa M. Ropp. Kathleen leaves us with an amazing legacy full of family traditions and will greatly be missed. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
